The thermostat supports compatible OpenTherm boilers, allowing the thermostat and boiler to communicate through the OpenTherm connection.
Yes. If your system has a separate hot water cylinder heated by the boiler, you can control the heating and hot water independently from the thermostat or app.
You can switch the hot water on or off, create a schedule or activate Boost. The thermostat does not control the water temperature itself; this is normally set on the cylinder thermostat.
For a combi boiler or a system without a separate hot water cylinder, the hot water control can be disabled during setup.
Yes, each thermostat comes with two brand-new AA alkaline batteries. These batteries will last for at least one year.
No. The system connects directly to Wi‑Fi, so no separate smart home hub is required. Once connected and set up in the app, you can control the heating remotely without a monthly subscription.
Yes. The thermostat will continue communicating with the receiver, and heating schedules and manual controls will continue to operate. App and voice control will be temporarily unavailable until the internet connection is restored.
Our receiver has 4 built-in zones, namely 3 heating zones + 1 hot water zone. Each heating zone requires an independent thermostat control, so 1 receiver can pair with up to 3 thermostats.
1 heating zone with/without hot water zone → 1~2 zone
2 heating zone with/without hot water zone → 3 zone
3 heating zone with/without hot water zone → 4 zone
Each thermostat can control the hot water, so a separate thermostat is not necessary for the hot water area.
If your home has more than 4 zones, you can purchase 2 receivers and up to 6 thermostats to control 6 heating zones and one hot water zone. Alternatively, use our wiring center to control up to 8 heating zones.

The black finish really blew me away—it's way better than I expected. You can tell they've put proper thought into the surface craftsmanship; it feels absolutely brilliant to the touch. Haven't installed it yet, though—I'll pop back with some feedback after I've used it for a bit.

Anything I didn't quite understand was quickly resolved by your very helpful James.
The only comment I have is the very small size of the numbers of the required temperature on the thermostat screen. Some of the space taken up by the large current temperature numbers could be used to increase the desired temperature numbers. Is this possible by an update, or am I showing my complete lack of understanding of these things?
Otherwise definitely does what it says on the tin, and no problem installing by following the appropriate wiring diagram.

I had not heard of this brand before, but I went ahead and bought the wireless thermostat. It is excellent value for money and easy to set up. It does all that I need and links to the app very easily.

Excellent bit of kit, easy to install, quick and easy setup and makes life much easier inputting heating times into the app, I have also setup with Alexa, cannot fault it.

Should have installed this sooner. Absolutely superb piece of kit. I have basic DIY skills, so had to revert to an electricians' forum on the web to ask a few questions, but was actually very easy to fit.

The install was a bit fiddly, but that’s partly because I had to wire in all the motorised valves and the cylinder stat in an S-Plan configuration. If you’re not confident with heating wiring, it’s probably one for a sparky or heating engineer.
Once sorted though, it works brilliantly. Easy to control from the app, scheduling is straightforward, and it’s been totally reliable so far.
